Tom Hiddleston’s TV Choice acceptance speech hijacked by two hotties!

He wasn't expecting that...

It was a big night for Tom Hiddleston, as he was named the Best Actor for his role in BBC’s The Night Manager at the 20th annual TV Choice Awards on Monday.

But the 35-year-old was unable to attend the London ceremony as he’s in Australia filming Thor: Ragnarok, the follow-up to 2013′s Thor: The Dark World.

So the Loki actor did what he does best and put together an acceptance video thanking all of his fans.

But it didn’t quite go to plan, as he was completely hijacked by his co-stars Chris Hemsworth and Idris Elba on the set of the forthcoming Marvel flick.

It started well, with Tom apologising for not being in London for the ceremony, and saying that he was sure everybody looked “lovely”. What a gent.

Chris then walked into view and took the TV Choice gong from Tom’s hand.

Tom started well on his own (TV Choice Awards Twitter screengrab)

“Oh it that for us, for Home and Away, yeah?” he asked, making sure to name-drop the Aussie soap opera that made him famous.

Seconds later, Idris stalked in, joking that the award looked “really awful” and then asking why his drama series Luther wasn’t nominated. Oh dear.

Meanwhile, Tom tried to get his acceptance speech out as his colleagues hilariously gatecrashed his big moment.

The three actors, who have clearly become the best of friends, continued to bicker over the trophy as Hiddleston tried to finish his speech.

“I feel like Home and Away won a couple of awards back in the way,” Hiddleston noted.

Idris even managed to throw in a shout-out and a wink to his mother! Smooth.

Tom managed to regain the situation as he said: “Well, Chris and Idris are so happy about this, so am I. So, thank you very much! I loved doing The Night Manager, I loved making it.”

Chris, however, got the last words in: “Home and Away rocks… so does The Night Manager!”

The Thor actor then tweeted his appreciation and of course, the help he got from his new bezzies.
