Tom Hardy ‘to become a dad again’

Congratulations are in order for Tom and Charlotte!

Tom Hardy and his gorgeous wife Charlotte Riley are reportedly expecting their second child together, The Mail on Sunday has reported.

The happy news was revealed after Tom and Charlotte attended the London premiere of her new film, Swimming With Men, on Wednesday night.

Although Charlotte’s blossoming bump was not prominent, the actress chose to cover her stomach area in a beautiful, loose-fitting, white Oscar de la Renta dress.

The couple have been together for nine years after very romantically first meeting on the set of Wuthering Heights (Charlotte played the Catherine to Tom’s brooding Heathcliffe) and married five years later in 2014.

They welcomed their first child, a son, together the following October, but the two-year-old is very much kept out of the limelight.

Charlotte, 36, is also step mum to Tom’s son Louis with ex girlfriend Rachel Speed, who was born in 2008.

The Peaky Blinders actor has also been married to producer Sarah Ward from 1999-2004.

Despite his tough exterior, Tom, 40, has frequently spoken about his dedication to his family, and even regularly contributes to children’s show CBeebies’ Bedtime Stories – a huge hit with mums!

Last year he said: “I do have a weakness for the darker side of things, but I am not dark at all in my own life. I love my family and my home life.

“I put my heart and soul into my work but when it’s over, I get back to my real world, my family.”

Tom even credits having children as helping him to battle with his past alcohol addiction.

He told website The Resident: “I was self-indulgent for a long time, and I was only thinking about myself and my own stupid stuff. Having a child lifts you out of selfish behaviour and gives you responsibility.

“It forces you to be a better man and to live a healthy life. I take great pride in being a father.”

Tom even revealed that he would not move from his roots in South West London in order to remain close to Louis, who lives nearby with his mother.

It’s not known when Charlotte is due, or whether or not they will officially announce any news.

Entertainment Daily have contacted a representative of the couple for comment.
