This Morning’s soap queen Sharon Marshall has said “life is brilliant” as a new mum.
Sharon, 46, welcomed a daughter, Betsey, with her partner Paul Fletcher on Monday.
Sharon has now shared a close-up picture of her newborn daughter to Twitter and she’s absolutely adorable!

The photo shows the baby sleeping while wearing a star-printed newborn hat.
Sharon captioned the post: “Thank you so much for all your lovely messages yesterday. Here is beautiful Betsey. Life is just brilliant. Sharon and Paul.”
Fans rushed to reply to the post, with many gushing over the sweet infant.
One person said: “Oh she’s heavenly, well done you!” while another wrote: “Congratulations… she is beautiful!”
A third added: “Gorgeous. Enjoy every moment.”
The news of Betsey’s arrival was announced on Tuesday’s edition of This Morning.
Hosts and Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield happily shared the news with viewers.
Opening the show, Phil told viewers: “We’re going to start the show with some fantastic news about one of our This Morning family.”
Holly, 37, continued: “Just a week ago, our soap queen Sharon Marshall headed off on maternity leave and she did not hang about…
“Betsey Fletcher came into the world at 1pm yesterday and, according to her parents, she is absolutely perfect in every way.”
A photo showing Sharon in the hospital bed holding her newborn baby girl alongside Paul then popped up on screen.
Phil said: “Sharon and her partner Paul would like to thank the amazing NHS staff at the Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital for their wonderful care throughout her pregnancy.
“Huge congratulations to you, she is beautiful!”
Sharon 46, announced her pregnancy on the show back in January.
During her soap segment, she emotionally told Holly and Phil: “I’m about to cry, I swore I wouldn’t do this. I’m pregnant, I’m probably going to say everything wrong.
“I’m a bit emotional, I’m really happy – these are happy tears!”

Earlier this month, Sharon left her soap duties on the show behind as she prepared to welcome her daughter.
As she wrapped up her final soap segment on the programme, Holly and Phil gave her some baby essentials, flowers and a beautiful cake to send her on her way.
Sharon thanked the duo for their kind gifts, which included hand-knitted baby clothes.
