Paul Sturgess appeared on This Morning today and stunned hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford – as well as viewers – with his extraordinary height.

Now classed as Britain’s Tallest Man, Paul stands at a staggering seven foot seven.

Paul, 28, discussed his new Guiness World Record and gave the hosts an insight into the daily struggles he faces.

The basketball player revealed he has trouble with travelling around the UK because he can’t fit into regular sized cars.

He told the presenters: “The worst thing about my height is cars.

“I don’t drive in England because I can’t find a driving instructor with a car big enough for me to drive in.”

But Paul did admit there are some benefits that he receives such as flying first class so he can have extra leg room.

But as Paul revealed he has size 19 feet viewers sent Twitter into a commotion.

One wrote: “Wow Britain’s Tallest Man on #ThisMorning !! Size 19 feet I’m only 4ft 10, he’s the BFG! #bigfriendlygiant !! @thismorning.”

“That guy is 7ft 7 and a size 19 shoe . I’m like the size of his leg #ThisMorning,” said another.

Another tweeted: “Size 19 shoes??? Come again!!! #ThisMorning #Paul #Tallestman.”

Paul was given the title of the tallest man after former champion, Neil Fingleton, passed away this year.

Meanwhile on This Morning viewers were quick to troll James Cohen, who is a transgender woman, now living as Kara.

Kara was on the show with her wife as she opened up about telling her wife she wanted to live as a woman.

But fans of the show were definitely focused on Kara’s appearance rather than anything else.

One wrote: “Husband is not your wife. He’s a man in a bad wig & wearing your clothes. Still your husband #Thismorning.”

“Could of at least shaved your tash James, a mean Kara. #Thismorning,” another tweeted.
