This Morning fans OUTRAGED over mum buying child designer clothes

She thinks nothing of spending £400 on a handbag

Fern Weston-Bennett joined hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford on This Morning to reveal why she splashes thousands of pounds on her three-year-old daughter Nancy’s wardrobe.

Fern admitted to buying Nancy expensive clothes and handbags from luxury brands such as Chanel and Louis Vuitton.

But the mum’s spending habits infuriated viewers who branded her “ridiculous”.

Presenter Eamonn showcased little Nancy’s £400 handbags and a rail showing her lavish clothing – and nothing was under £100!

Ruth asked the mum: “Is it necessary for a three-year-old to have these clothes?”

Fern replied: “No, not at all.

“I think it would definitely be a waste of money on some children, but she’s always liked them.”

But the glamorous mum admitted to being “addicted” to buying her daughter such expensive clothing and claims it is “a lot of women’s dreams” to dress their children with designer brands.

She added: “I don’t force her to wear this stuff, she’s very happy to wear it.

“If she’s happy, I’m happy.”

But fans of the show were outraged and blasted Fern by saying Nancy is too young to have designer clothes and bags.

One wrote on Twitter: “@thismorning What a ridiculous mother!!!”

“Spending fortunes is stupid when high street stores sell decent clothes. #thismorning,” said another.

A third said: “I cannot believe what I’m seeing and hearing. Kids starving, abused and this woman spends all this morning in designer clothes #thismorning.”

A fourth wrote: “Wonder if this woman knows her daughter isn’t a Doll…. #thismorning.”
