Brooke Vincent welcomed her first child, a baby boy, last week and she announced his arrival on social media yesterday.
The Coronation Street actress shared a string of photos to Instagram as she revealed she gave birth on October 23.
Brooke also revealed that she and her partner Kean Bryan have named their son: Mexx S J Bryan.

But what is the meaning behind the name Mexx?
Well, according to the website Cute Baby Names, Mexx means “the largest” or “best”.
Meanwhile, according to the website pregnology, the name means “greatest”.
It comes after Brooke shared photos of her newborn son to Instagram.
She first shared a snap of her baby boy lying on her chest to Instagram as she confirmed his arrival.

Brooke, who plays Sophie Webster in the soap, said: “On Wednesday 23rd October at 8.14am Our Baby Boy Arrived. Mexx S J Bryan, you complete us.”
Moments later, she shared three more pictures of the tot including one of Kean snuggling their son.
Another snap sees a close-up of the little boy while a third shows the newborn’s tiny leg with a hospital band around his ankle.

Brooke captioned the post: “My Two,” followed by a world emoji.
Her followers congratulated her, including many of her Corrie co-stars.
Kym Marsh gushed: “Beautiful,” while Catherine Tyldesley said: “Love you so much. Well done beautiful.”

Lucy Fallon commented: “My heart,” followed by a string of blue heart emojis.
Samia Longchambon said: “Sooo happy for you Brooke.. He is absolutely beautiful.”
The actress went on maternity leave on August 21 and over the summer, Brooke shared a series of Instagram Stories in which she opened up about her pregnancy struggles.
She wrote: “Pregnancy can be so overwhelming, especially when you don’t feel amazing and see girls on Instagram looking like they are breezing through it!
“With the pressure of social media, and the natural worries of growing a baby I just want to let you know that I feel ya!!!”
