Now viewers of the Chase will know that Bradley Walsh is a cheeky so-and-so, so are never surprised about what comes out of his mouth.
But when a contestant said something a bit cheeky in yesterday’s show, well we just didn’t know what to do with ourselves.
In the episode a contestant uttered an answer some viewers thought was a bit naughty for a tea time slot.
When contestant Barbara came face to face with The Beast after her cash builder, proceedings took a rather bizarre turn.
As she was asked, “What punishment was given out to false starters in the ancient Olympic Games?” Babs was offered three choices: exile, fines or whipping.
Babs had a quick think then opted for ‘whipping’, which caused hysterics with the blue-rinse audience.
Bradley looked shocked and joshed: “You’ve put whipping. Whipping? That’s a bit extreme isn’t it?”
A not-so-bashful Barbara replied: “Exile is extreme if you get rid of them. Whipping seems pretty appropriate.”
Viewers found Barbara’s answer hilarious and took to Twitter to share their views on her answer – and comeback.
“Barbara you dirty minded thing,” one tickled viewer gasped.
Another added: “Seems Barbara’s into S&M!”
Luckily for Barbara, her cheeky answer was correct and the lucky miss went all the way to the final.

When Babs and her three fellow contestants came face to face with The Beast in the final, they managed to outwit him and took home a share of £23,000.
