Tesco selling hot chocolate Baileys Freakshake cake and salted caramel cupcakes

Oh lordy!

| Updated:

It’s that time of the year when supermarkets are launching their Christmas food line-ups.

Now Baileys – who doesn’t love a drop of Baileys at Christmas? – has expanded its cake range, adding a new flavour to its Freakshakes and some salted caramel cupcakes.

Both are now on sale in Tesco.

Originally launched last year, the Freakshake cake married all the scrumminess of a chocolate sponge cake with Baileys-flavour frosting and an extra serving of edible decorations, like marshmallows.

Now the liquor brand has added a hot chocolate flavour.

It has also added salted caramel cupcakes to its range.

The Hot Chocolate-flavoured Freakshake costs £13 from Tesco’s website.

The whopper can feed up to 16 people.

It’s also on sale in Asda at the same £13 price, while Sainsbury’s have it for £1 cheaper, at £12 a pop.

The salted caramel cupcakes come in packs of nine.

They cost just £4 per pack.

These sweet treats are only available at Tesco’s at the moment.

Baileys delighted fan last week when it unveiled plans for a new flavour.

“I need this in my life,” one tweeted after hearing of plans for the new salted caramel flavour.

Set to launch exclusively in Asda on October 10, it will then be available in Morrisons and Sainsbury’s from November 1.

The drink features the Original Irish Cream blended with a rich caramel and hint of salt.
