Take That’s Howard Donald appears to be channeling Madonna’s Madame X persona after reportedly suffering a freak accident.
And the culprit of his injury is apparently his overzealous fans.
The 51-year-old pop star allegedly got into a scuffle with a bevy of Take That fans outside his Amsterdam hotel.
The legendary 90’s pop band are currently on tour, minus Robbie Williams and Jason Orange.

A source told The Sun: “Howard was leaving his hotel in Amsterdam on Monday where he had been staying during the tour and a big crowd of fans jumped on him in the hope of getting some pictures and giving him a hug.
“In the melee someone accidentally poked him right in the eyeball and it’s still pretty sore, even now. One of the team then went out and bought him an eye patch which he could wear on stage to make sure he could keep it protected.”
But the unfortunate injury hasn’t stopped Howard from enjoying his tour.
As he’s reportedly been enjoying late night partying across Europe with bandmates Mark Owen and Gary Barlow.
Their European tour will see the three remaining bandmates visit the likes of Germany, Italy and Switzerland.

An eye patch has become synonymous with Madonna this year.
The pop icon has reinvented herself yet again as ‘Madame X’ – an eye patched dominatrix.
The persona is also the title of her fourteenth album, and the eleventh concert tour for Madge.
Many of Howard’s fans couldn’t help but make the comparison as he shares pics from his tour on Instagram.
One fan wrote: “What’s with the eye patch Howard/Madonna?”

And a third: “Oh omg you’ve got the Madonna look with your fabulous eye patch hope eye gets better great pics.”
