Former Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt has showcased her striking new brunette hair do.
The Geordie beauty debuted her new “mermaid locks” on social media after relaxing at a salon, Rush Hair & Beauty, at the weekend.
Scarlett kept a dark brown shade but added a fresh set of luxury hair extensions.

The star opted for a festival-themed look by having her locks styled in a curly do with three braids poking through.
She captioned the snap: “Love my new hair so much, thanks to @vixenandblush giving me mermaid locks this weekend 😍Colour by @officialrushhairbeauty #newhair #extensions #love #brunette #mermaid #hair.”
Fans of course approved of her striking transformation. One wrote: “You look beautiful Scarlett 😜.”
“Major hair envy! Looks so nice,” another gushed.
A third commented: “Gorgeous 💖.”
Her new look comes just days after it was reported that the star is in fear that her ex-boyfriend, Richard Cull, will spill all their “bedroom secrets” after he signed up to new romance reality series, Make or Break?
The pair started dating following their appearances on MTV’s Beauty School Cop Outs in 2013.
Scarlett dated the tattooed hunk for eight months before their relationship turned very sour.
Now the former Gogglebox star’s pals have revealed that Scarlett is worried he might reveal their bedroom secrets which could damage her TV career.
A friend told the Daily Star: “Scarlett thought this was all done.
“But she knows how reality TV works and producers are going to be desperate for him to open up about their bedroom secrets.”
They added: “Scarlett’s brand has taken off big style in the last year.
“But she is crossing all her fingers for Rich and Sophii to be voted off the show first.”
The personal trainer, from Cardiff, is one of the contestants on the new Love Island-style show, along with his girlfriend Sophii Vassollo.
Meanwhile Scarlett has been wrapped up in her own love life.
The Queen of the Jungle recently rekindled her romance with former flame Luke Crodden.

A source told The Sun: “Scarlett and Luke are giving it another go.
“Her life was manic after the jungle and she wanted to focus on her work.
“The following months were critical for her career, which is why she needed space from Luke.
“Now that Scarlett is more settled, she and Luke have been seeing a lot more of each other and have decided to make it official.”
But the pair seemed to have confirmed their relationship is back on after sharing photos of each other and spending a lot of time in each other’s company.
And it’s not only her romantic life that’s going well.
Her TV career is also going from strength to strength.
The presenter has been travelling across the UK for her brand new stint on the revamped series of Streetmate.
Streetmate is a dating show that will see love-seekers hit the streets of their hometown in the hope of getting a date with attractive passers-by.
Speaking about landing the job during an appearance on Lorraine the star recently said: “It is coming back. I’m so excited. I still remember watching it.
“I can’t wait. I love talking to random people, it’s one of my favourite things to do.”
