Strictly’s Craig savages Simon Cowell and X Factor!

The acid-tongued judge ain't a fan of wannabes!

Oh we love a good spat. And who better to kick one off than Strictly’s wicked Craig Revel Horwood, who has launched a scathing attack on rival show, X Factor.

The acid-tongued judge has laid into the music talent show and says it will never beat the ballroom dancing juggernaut in the ratings.

Just this weekend, Strictly trounced The X Factor with double the amount of viewers tuning in to watch the stars dance in Blackpool!

“X Factor will never beat us again,” he told the Daily Star Sunday. “That’ll never happen. They’ll never be more popular than us again. Strictly is an unstoppable machine.

Craig went on to explain that he thinks that Strictly’s main appeal is its celebrity contestants and reckons that audiences are bored of seeing a bunch of wannabes.

“I think we are doing well because the celebrities are different every year!” he said. “Also they’re not trying to be anything they’re not. That’s what’s great about it.”

However, Craig does have some nice things to say about Strictly’s competition, admitting that thanks to Simon, he has been able to find some talented cast members for his many shows.

“It’s great for me to have X Factor on because I can pinch some of the talent. I’ve used Alexandra Burke as the lead in my Sister Act show which is a sell out.

“Thank you Simon for helping with the casting and doing all the auditions for me for free. I basically turn the telly on, I choose the people and put them in shows. It makes the world go round.”
