Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood is no stranger to voicing his honest opinion, whether it offends people or not.
And now he’s made further scathing comments about TOWIE and Dancing On Ice star Gemma Collins.
Gemma revealed her desire to take part in Strictly last year but said she’s never been approached by the show, and Craig has now insisted again she’ll never get a chance to take part in the competition series.
He told Star Magazine: “We don’t want her type on the show, darling. We don’t have those reality stars.
“What is Gemma famous for? A vajazzle, darling. When she shows talent, I’ll be interested.”
ED! has contracted representatives for Gemma for comment.
This isn’t the first time Craig has hit out at Gemma’s desire to star on Strictly.
In November last year, Craig said she was not “high calibre” enough to compete on the show.
He told The Sun at the time: “Gemma Collins would be fun on the show but it’s not very often that we have reality stars take to the ballroom.
“We generally have people of a higher calibre than that.”
But it wasn’t long before Gemma responded to Craig’s comments, saying she found his remarks “funny”.
She told the publication in December: “I find his comment funny. ‘m not low rent, Craig.
“We’ve all got to start somewhere and it’s a shame to just knock someone out of giving them a chance because they don’t think I’m high calibre enough.”
Gemma said she believes she could bring a “different audience to the BBC” if she was to appear on Strictly.
Meanwhile, the star – who is known as The GC – is currently training for the next series of Dancing On Ice.
The TOWIE star was announced as part of Dancing On Ice’s line-up in September and is rumoured to be this year’s highest paid contestant, raking in an estimated £100,000.
