Strictly viewers slam Len Goodman for being rude to Tess Daly

He's known for his grumpiness, but was this a step too far?

It looks like it’s time for Len Goodman to learn how to turn his frown upside down, as fans are growing tired of his grumps.

Some Strictly viewers were seriously put out by the rude way he addressed host Tess Daly on last night’s show. So put out they took to social media to tick him off!

Moments into the week five live show, the head judge was ‘off’ with the blonde presenter.

Judge Rinder had just finished his routine and Tess turned to the judging panel for their critique of his performance.

“Did he impress you?” she asked.

Scowling Len responded: “I don’t know what you said so I can’t answer that.”

Being polite to her elder, she posed the question again, adding a ‘darling’ for effect: “Did he impress you, darling?”

The 72-year-old then claimed he still couldn’t understand what Tess was saying to him, leaving Craig Revel Horwood to quietly explain.

He was then all smiles again and full of praise for the performance.

Bizarre.

One viewer posted on Twitter: “Len grumbling at Tess and it was his first sentence of the evening. Grumpy old a**e. #Strictly.”

Another tweeted: “Another episode of Len vs Tess gets tenser. #Strictly.”

A couple of other viewers were driven to using swear words to describe the showbiz veteran after his abrupt dismissal.

Oh dear. Maybe he’d got out the wrong side of the bed…
