The current series of BBC's Strictly Come Dancing has probably just reached its peak.
When it was announced that former MP Ed Balls was going to dance to Gangnam Style, you could feel the collective groan across the nation.
Could it be though that there was some reverse psychology in play?
Ed has managed to lay waste to a number of dances over the weeks, so maybe the theory was that if he was given a crazy dance to begin with, then there wouldn't be any chance of making a mockery of it.

With his wife, MP Yvette Cooper watching on, Ed once again gave it his all but was it enough to see him through to Blackpool next week?
Well, he may have perplexed the judges to a degree but Len Goodman absolutely loved it, even giving Ed an eight in the process.
He wasn't alone in thinking this was classic Balls. The viewers at home sent social media into meltdown as they shared their love for him.
Will this be enough to see him through to the final seven?
The judges put him at the bottom of the leaderboard again but that hasn't stopped Ed so far as his fans have had the balls to pick up the phone and vote.
