Strictly Come Dancing stars share an epic selfie as they head to Blackpool together

They're off to the home of ballroom

The cast of Strictly Come Dancing are off to Blackpool this weekend and the stars of the show shared an epic selfie as they headed north.

Michelle Visage – who recently hit out at claims she was “deeply unhappy after clashing with partner Giovanni Pernice – shared the selfie.

“Friends headed to BLACKPOOL! Yaaaaassss,”  she said, also posting the roller coaster dancing lady emoji.

The image showed Michelle and Giovanni travelling up to Blackpool by train.

Also in the picture were Karen Hauer and her partner Chris Ramsey and Neil Jones and Alex Scott.

Chris and Neil also shared the picture.

Neil captioned it: “On route to Blackpool with this crazy bunch.”

The selfie comes after this week’s songs and dances were revealed.

Alex and Neil will dance the paso doble to Beyoncé’s Run The World (Girls).

Chris and Karen will dance the salsa to Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ Uptown Funk.

Michelle and Giovanni will dance the couples’ choice to Vogue by Madonna.

Elsewhere, Karim Zeroual and Amy Dowden dance the Charleston to C2C’s Happy, Kelvin Fletcher and Oti Mabuse take on the jive to Jailhouse Rock, while Saffron Barker dances the quickstep to Beverley Knight’s Marvellous Party with AJ Pritchard.

She’ll be hoping to get better comments from head judge Shirley Ballas, who fans claimed praised her “through gritted teeth” after her dance last week.
