On Wednesday, her on/off boyfriend Jeremy McConnell pleaded not guilty to assaulting Stephanie when he appeared at Liverpool Magistrates Court.

The Irish model was said to have called off their relationship on the afternoon of the trial, and packed his bags before flying back to Ireland.

A source has told The Sun: “Stephanie is currently in hospital and close family and friends are very worried about her.

“It’s been an extremely difficult few weeks and she’s been feeling particularly low.

“She’s in the right place and will hopefully make a speedy recovery.”

Her spokesperson has also given an update on the star’s condition, saying:

“I can confirm our client Stephanie has been admitted to hospital with a stress-related illness this afternoon.

“She is expected to make a quick and full recovery.”

Could it be that their break-up was too much for Steph?

Their relationship has certainly been rocky.

The pair reconciled after Jeremy’s stint in rehab, and things looked like they were back on track.

Steph was posting sweet photos of the couple, as they both brought up their son Caben-Albi, but it seems that Jeremy has now had a change of heart.

Reports say that Jeremy had left Stephanie’s home and was staying in a nearby hotel on Tuesday.

A source told The Sun’s Bizarre: “Jeremy left Stephanie’s home yesterday and has been staying in a hotel – a good move if they’re going to ever get along.

“He’s going to pick up his things later today and fly to Ireland until the dust has settled.”

Neither Steph or Jeremy have commented on the split reports.
