Massive congratulations to This Morning’s Sharon Marshall who has just revealed live on TV that she’s expecting her first child at the age of 46.
She broke the news that she was 14 weeks pregnant to hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield as she presented her SoapBox segment on the show.
Getting teary before she spoke she told the pair: “I’m pregnant. I am probably going to say everything wrong. I am a little bit emotional.”
An excited Holly told her: “It is the most wonderful news.”

Crying, the soap expert replied: “It is really, really happy. These are happy tears.”
As Phillip grabbed some tissues for Sharon, he went on to ask her: “Who knew? Because we didn’t know?”
And Sharon revealed that the show’s very own Dr Chris was in on the wonderful news.
She said: “Well, I told Dr Chris very early so he has been keeping the secret. Myself and my partner Paul Fletcher we’re 14 weeks along, and we let Dr Chris into the secret a little while ago. He is the king of the corridor consultation. We tell him everything.”

As did several celebrity friends, including Coronation Street star Kym Marsh.
Sharon confirmed that the little one is due in July and that her partner Paul is very excited.
“He is really really happy, he is thrilled. We can’t wait, we are just so happy.”
