Coronation Street shares cryptic messages about love on Valentine’s Day

Daniel Brocklebank has dropped some hints after break-up

Corrie favourite Daniel Brocklebank appears to be nursing a broken heart, after sharing a cryptic message on Valentine’s Day.

The actor – who plays troubled vicar Billy Mayhew – had been dating Mr Gay UK winner Stuart Hatton since November last year.

But he posted a message to suggest that all was not well yesterday, urging his followers not to settle in their romantic relationships.

“You should never have to fight for someone’s attention. If they really cared you wouldn’t have to.”

Sound advice for all of us. He also wished everyone a great day – full of love.

And then he reminded his followers to tell their loved ones how they feel while they have chance to. Again, great advice.

Daniel – who often has us in stitches with his cheeky tweets – also shared an exchanged he’d had with his mum, explaining there had been a shortage of romance for him this year.

It doesn’t look as though fans should worry too much about the soap fave though, as Daniel is currently sunning himself – looking very buff and happy in Thailand.

He sure deserves a holiday after some hardcore filming in Weatherfield – Billy is currently in the throes of a dreadful addiction to painkillers.

It’s been reported that he will turn to heroin as he struggles with his addiction, the guilt of killing Susan Barlow, trying to raise Summer – and missing Todd.

Before Stuart, Daniel was dating his co-star Rob Mallard, who plays Daniel Osbourne, until July of last year.

Corrie fans were delighted when their relationship came to light in May.

ED has contacted Daniel’s rep for comment on hi social media posts.
