Stacey Solomon believes looking after her family is more of a workout than the gym

She has a pretty blissful domestic life with her family

Stacey Solomon reckons she doesn’t need to exercise because housework is physical activity enough for her.

The Loose Women star is convinced she keeps fit and active by looking after her two kids and ensuring their home is clean and tidy.

She told Closer magazine: “I spend the morning doing housework. People assume everyone goes to the gym these days, but I hardly ever exercise, running around after the kids all day and hoovering the house is enough of a workout for me.”

And when she isn’t working, the modest 29-year-old loves nothing more than to chill out with her sons and fella Joe Swash at home.

“Family is so important to me, so any free time I have is spent with them,” she said.

Explaining the family operate a phone ban while eating meals so they can pay attention to each other rather than their devices, the former X Factor singer also revealed she cooks all of the family’s dinner from scratch.

However, despite such family harmony, she did admit Joe is not all that keen on one aspect of her domestic routine.

Apparently, Stace often cuts her evenings short to get an early night around 9pm after watching some telly.

She continued: “Joe always moans at me to stay up later but I love my sleep.”

But despite such a blissful domestic life, Stacey recently backtracked on any possible plans for her and Joe to get wed.

“I don’t think it would add anything to my relationship,” she said earlier this week.
