Stacey Solomon makes candid confession about sex life

She asked Hollywood icon Jane Fonda for advice

Everyone knows Stacey Solomon is like an open book and is happy to share details of her personal life.

On Thursday’s Loose Women, the star opened up about her lack of sex drive during a pre-recorded interview with Hollywood actresses Jane Fonda, Candice Bergen, Diane Keaton and Mary Steenburgen.

Stacey, 28, and Nadia Sawalha were lucky enough to jet off to Hollywood to interview the ladies about their new comedy film Book Club.

Speaking about the movie, Nadia told the women: “We had such a great time but we were quite overwhelmed by how much sex was [in the film].

“Stacey says a lot on our show that she’s 28 and undersexed.”

Jane asked Stacey: “You’re undersexed?”

Stacey replied: “Jane, you said that you didn’t want to intimidate older women by making this movie because they might not have as much as what is spoken about.

“And I was thinking – I’m kind of intimidated by this movie, I’m not having this much sex!”

She added: “Is there hope for me as I get older?”

Candice replied: “Of course! That’s what this movie is about.”

Stacey asked: “So you’re all really happy in your sex lives and I’ve got lots to look forward to?”

Jane told Stacey: “It’s important to say, for our audience of a certain age, there’s no reason you have to have sex, it should be a choice.

“If you choose to close up shop at a certain point down there then that’s fine too.”

Stacey has been very open about her sex life and her relationship with her boyfriend of two years Joe Swash.

Earlier this year, during a discussion about sex drives on Loose Women, the mum-of-two admitted she was concerned about how often she wants to get intimate.

She revealed: “Sometimes, I’d just rather eat more. I worry about my sex drive. I worry that mine’s not high enough.

“The problem is that girls my age, and things you read for people in my stage of life, is that everyone’s out there doing it every day and… mine’s not like that.”

Stacey and Joe started dating early in 2016 and initially kept their romance a secret.

Now two years on, many fans are wondering when the couple will take the next step and get engaged.

During an appearance on Loose Women earlier this month, Joe said he doesn’t feel pressure to pop the question to Stace.

“I don’t feel pressure,” he said. “We’re flattered by it because people love Stacey and they like to see us together and they want the best for us.”
