Joe Swash found himself in a little bit of trouble with partner Stacey Solomon after a recent Instagram post.
He shared a clip of him shouting: "Yeeeer boy!" captioned the same thing and fans immediately concluded he was announcing he and Stacey are having a son.
I didn't announce the gender of mine and Stacey's babyView this post on Instagram
Commenting on the clip, one wrote: "Aw congratulations to you both," while another added: "YAY !!!!💙💙💙💙💙💙💙 Wonderful news."
"A girl would have been nice for Stacey too many boys," someone felt the need to say.
But now Joe has posted to his Insta stories to clarify he was in fact talking about the football score and not the gender of his baby!
With a rabbit filter on - which he later said he had no idea how it got there - he said: "Just so you know, I didn't announce the gender of mine and Stacey's baby I was actually saying 'yeah boy' Arsenal had scored, so just to get that straight 'cos she would kill me."
Joe and Stacey announced they were expecting a baby together last month and were inundated with well-wishes.
Stacey responded with heartfelt thanks at all the words of kindness and support she and Joe received.
She told her followers on Instagram: "Just wanted to say we are so so grateful for all of the lovely messages we've received since sharing our news and each and every one means so much to us it really does.
"Thought we'd post a massive THANK YOU from all of us we are so over the moon and excited and blown away by kindness."
Yesterday, Joe shared a sweet snap of Stacey's blossoming baby bump.
The TV presenter, 37, took to Instagram to post a picture of Stacey as she looked relaxed and pouted for the camera.
Joe, who also pulled a face for the pic, captioned it: "Good morning baby xxxx".
Fans continued to offer congratulatory messages for the couple, with one writing "Such a lovely couple you're going to have one cute bubba together" and someone else responding: "I love you two together and can’t wait to see your little bundle when he or she arrives."
Another fan said: "You are so cute as a couple. What joy to be expecting a bubba to complete your lovely family."
