Stacey Solomon has said there’s ONE major change she’d make to X Factor if she was in charge.
The Loose Women star kicked off her showbiz career on the sixth series of X Factor back in 2009, where she finished in third place.
Now, the X Factor is getting ready for its 15th series, scheduled to air on ITV later this year.
And Stacey reckons there is one thing that needs to change…

Writing in her regular Fabulous magazine column, she said: “I feel that having less joke acts would make it more credible as I find them really difficult to watch.
“I end up feeling sorry for them as it seems the joke is on them, but they’re not aware of it. Why have people on to laugh at? It’s horrible.”
Stacey went on to say X Factor is a singing competition so the focus should be on vocal talent and star quality.
However, she added: “Although there’s always room here and there. Jedward were one of my favourite acts to come out of The X Factor. They were considered a ‘joke’ act but you could tell they were in on the gag.”
Details about the next series of X Factor have been kept firmly under wraps so far.
As always, rumours about the judging panel have been swirling but, as always, reps for X Factor have said it’s too early to confirm who will be on the panel this series.
It’s been speculated show boss Simon Cowell is considering a shake-up, which could see one or all of the current judges – Sharon Osbourne, Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger – replaced.
Other names being floated as possible judges include Cheryl, Louis Tomlinson, Rita Ora and even Gloria Estefan.
However, show stalwart Louis said earlier this week he and Sharon still haven’t completed their three-year contracts, so talk of them being replaced is premature.
What we do know, however, is that X Factor is holding auditions abroad for the first time.
Notices have gone up in Tenerife and Benidorm advising locals and ex-pats that auditions will be held in both tourist hotspots in the next few days.

Anyone can turn up as long as they’re 14 or over.
They’ll have to impress the X Factor producers and casting agents before getting their chance to audition in front of the judges – whoever they may be – later in the year.
