He too has a son, 11-year-old Harry, with an ex-girlfriend.

Speaking to Closer, Stacey said: “I would love children with Joe and we have discussed it, but we want to make sure that our family is completely settled and in a good place before we think about extending it.

“It would be lovely to have a baby girl but it’s just whether it works out that way.”

Loose Women star Stacey was aged 17 when she discovered she was expecting her eldest child Zachary, now 10.

Her relationship with Zachary’s father did not work out and she welcomed her second son Leighton in 2012.

Stacey was engaged to her now-ex fiancé Aaron Barnham at the time but their relationship broke down when Leighton was 23 months old.

The former X Factor finalist, who found fame when Zachary was just one, is now blissfully happy with Joe and has spoken openly about her desire to marry him.

Although the couple do not live together, it seems they are very much in it for the long haul.

During a previous episode of Loose Women, Stacey revealed that she had discussed weddings with Joe, 36.

“I think you do have to compromise, because I would want Joe to compromise on everything when it comes to our wedding!” she said.

“Luckily he doesn’t mind, we’ve spoken about it and he really wouldn’t want to get involved at all so I would get to run the ship.”

Stacey added that she would love a Disney-themed Big Day, with tweeting birds helping to get her ready just like Cinderella.

Hopefully she will get her wedding, but Stacey will have to keep dreaming about the birds!
