Stacey Solomon responds to those engagement rumours…

The Loose Women star posted a VERY suspicious video

| Updated:

Stacey Solomon was caught up in the centre of a media frenzy on Tuesday after posting a video wearing a sparkler on her ring finger.

Her 397,000 fans went into overdrive after she shared the clip on her Instagram page, thinking that she was engaged to her beau Joe Swash.

“Are you and Joe engaged?? Say yes…perfect match 👰”, said one.

Another questioned: “I spy a ring on your left hand…….. Are you engaged? <3 🙂 xxx”.

But, the Loose Women panellist has now spoken out about her relationship status.

Talking to Now Magazine, the 27-year-old said: “No, I’m not engaged! But even if I was, what would it matter?

“If I was engaged I certainly wouldn’t announce it with a manicure photo. I would just say, ‘I’m engaged!'”

Well that’s put everybody in their place!

The Dagenham-born star, who shot to fame after appearing on X Factor in 2009, has been in a relationship with her ex-EastEnders actor boyfriend since January 2016.

They are the cutest couple, and often share selfies of themselves with Stacey’s two children, Zachary, 9, and Leighton, 4. Joe also has a nine-year-old son called Harry from a previous relationship.

Opening up about how he makes her feel, she said: “I feel sexy when I’m being goofy. I don’t feel I’m that kind of person and I get uncomfortable.

“But I feel sexy when I’m out with my friends, they make me feel good, and when I’m with Joe because he loves me no matter what.”

Stacey has previously opened up about whether she’ll have more children. In a blog posted to Huffington Post, she said: “I always have an overwhelming sense of guilt that if I were to make my family greater, that I would impact on them socially and emotionally.

“There’s definitely been times in my life where I’ve felt the stigma of having multiple children with different fathers.”

During a Loose Women episode, Joe sat on the panel with her and was questioned over whether he wanted more children.

He simply said: “I think definitely babies, that’s a good idea.”

We think so too! We wonder whether he’ll pop the question first…
