Coronation Street’s Zeedan Nazir is given hope that he might be able too reunite with estranged wife Rana next week when he thinks Kate Connor and Sophie Webster are having an affair.
Following Aidan’s devastating death, Kate is understandably heartbroken about what has happened.
But when Zeedan sees Kate crying in Sophie’s arms, he puts two and two together and gets five – thinking the pair are a secret couple.
Hoping that this moment of intimacy between Sophie and Kate could be what he needs to win back Rana’s affections, Zeedan decides to do some detective work and find out more.

But instead of becoming the next Sherlock, Zeedan’s actions are unfortunately more stalker-like and get him into big trouble.
In a bid to take her mind off what has happened with her brother, Kate asks Sophie to go into town with her for a drink.
But while the pair’s only intention is to get drunk and blot out the fact Aidan has taken his own life, Zeedan spots the pair in the pub together and decides to take a closer look.
Getting his phone out, the Speed Daal owner snaps some pictures of the women, convinced he can show them to Rana and win her back from Kate.
But unfortunately for Zeedan Rana has been invited along to the drinking session as well and sees him peering through the pub window at her girlfriend.

Rana confronts her estranged husband and he is quick to defend his actions, claiming that he thought Kate and Sophie were having an affair and he was hoping to present her with the proof.
But how will Rana react? Will she think Zeedan’s actions are sweet, causing her to soften towards him? Or is she going to be completely freaked out and fuming that he is following people on her behalf?
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
