Coronation Street SPOILER: Toyah begs Eva not to have an abortion

There's heartache in store for the pair...

| Updated:

Coronation Street’s Eva Price faces a huge decision next week when Toyah Battersby makes a desperate plea that’s set to turn their world upside down.

Ever since she discovered she was pregnant, Eva has kept the news close to her chest – so much so that even Aidan doesn’t know he is going to be a daddy.

But Eva’s guilt was made a million times worse in last night’s visit to Weaterfield when Toyah discovered their surrogate, Jacqui, had suffered a miscarriage.

Of course Eva was on hand to be a shoulder to cry on – but she obviously felt awful knowing that she was secretly carrying a baby that she wasn’t even sure she would be keeping.

But in scenes set to hit our screens next week, Toyah will learn about the huge secret Eva has been harbouring – leading to her making a shocking plea to the mum-to-be.

With her own desire to be a mum herself, added to the fact that she can’t bring herself to tell Peter the truth about Jacqui, Toyah is stunned when she discovers Eva’s not planning to keep the baby.

When Toyah realises that Eva has an appointment at an abortion clinic that day, she desperately races after her – hatching a plan.

When she arrives, she pretends she’s there to offer support – but it soon becomes apparent that there’s a lot more to her sudden appearance at the clinic.

As Toyah begs Eva not to go through with the abortion, claiming she will regret it for the rest of her life, it’s clear there’s something she’s not saying…

But when she does finally come out with the truth, Eva is left stunned.
