We have to admit, we’re Team Brenda when it comes to the whole Bob/Brenda/Laurel thing. She’s been treated pretty shabbily by her ex-hubby and he doesn’t even seem very sorry about it!
So we reckon it’s good news that next week, Brenda seems to be on the hunt for a new bloke to take her mind off her heartbreak – but is it all as it seems?
Poor Brenda’s hurt when she finds out the twins, Cathy and Heath, are off to the cinema with Laurel.
She pretends she’s really, really busy anyway and fibs that she’s off to a hot yoga class.
Laurel, though, wasn’t born yesterday and she clocks that Brenda’s lying – and she feels pretty awkward about it (we’re feeling no sympathy here, Laurel. None).
And Brenda’s lies don’t end there. Eager to pretend she’s FINE and is totally moving on, she adds that she’s been set up on a date with Rishi.
We’re guessing this is news to Rishi.
But though her romance with Rishi is fictional, Brenda does get a bit of action next week when she offers troubled Doug a shoulder to cry on.
Doug’s upset when Diane is cold with him, and Brenda takes pity on the broken man and listens to his woes. But will her pity turn to passion?
