With little Amelia Spencer still missing and the police investigation drawing a blank about the 11-year-old’s whereabouts, Kerry and Dan are at their wits’ end with worry and heartache.
Amelia vanished after she found out that Dan wasn’t her biological father in a brutal fashion, after Dan and Kerry’s discussion about the issue was accidentally recorded.
Poor Amelia discovered the man she’d thought was her uncle, Dan’s brother Daz, was her real dad – and that Dan was absolutely furious about the whole thing.
Tensions have been running high between Dan and Daz, not surprisingly, and Amelia’s disappearance hasn’t brought the warring brothers back together.
In fact, after Daz was taken in for questioning about Amelia’s whereabouts, relations hit an all-time low.

Dan and Kerry are already suspicious about whether Daz is somehow involved in Amelia’s disappearance, when he’s taken in for questioning again.
And under interrogation, the police bring up evidence that links the abduction to Daz. Could he really be responsible?!
When Daz returns from the police station, Dan and Kerry accuse him outright of abducting poor Amelia. Daz is upset and cross about their suspicions and storms out – but is he hiding something?

Dan’s angry too, but he’s convinced his brother abducted Amelia, and he’s furious that the police aren’t charging him.
At the end of his tether, he chases his brother down and threatens him with a wrench.
And Dan’s shocked when a cornered Daz makes a confession.
