Coronation Street SPOILER: Bethany Platt vows revenge on cheating Gary Windass

Is this revenge plan just a step too far?

Bethany Platt is left fuming when she realises Gary Windass is texting her mum, Sarah Platt, again – and vows to end their relationship once and for all.

Sarah was left devastated when she discovered Gary had betrayed her by having a one night stand with Nicola Rubinstein.

But now that the dust has settled slightly, Gary decides to try and win Sarah back.

But Bethany discovers the text messages that he’s been sending her mum asking for forgiveness, and takes it upon herself to delete them before Sarah can read them.

Bethany is convinced that Sarah deserves better than Gary and comes up with a plan to teach the cheater a lesson, once and for all.

Actress Lucy Fallon, who plays Bethany, told The Sun: “Bethany doesn’t think Gary is worth anything any more.

“Her opinion of men has changed dramatically; she hates them anyway but because Gary has cheated on her mum after everything she’s been though, Bethany can’t understand why Sarah would take him back.”

Following Bethany’s harrowing ordeal at the hands of Nathan Curtis last year, it’s not that surprising that her trust in men has disappeared.

But does this mean Gary deserves such a rough ride?

To make her point, Bethany deletes Gary’s messages – but when that doesn’t seem to have worked she comes up with a more sinister plan to send Gary packing…

“Bethany is speaking to Sam, one of the lap dancers at work, about how annoyed she is and comes up with the idea of getting her to go into the Rovers where Sarah works and be all over Gary.

“She wants Sarah to think Gary has moved on.”

But will Gary fall for the plan and be wooed by Sam’s flirty ways? Or does he really want Sarah back so badly that no other woman will turn his head?
