Bethany Platt’s relationship with Craig Tinker could be over already when he finds out she’s secretly moonlighting as a lap dancer.
In tonight’s visit to the Cobbles, policeman Craig is called to a disturbance at the lap dancing club Bethany is working at.
Little does he know, he’s about to come face-to-face with someone very familiar indeed!
But while Bethany defends her choice to work at the seedy establishment, straight-laced Craig struggles to understand why.

Instead of listening to her reasons, he is convinced she has somehow been coerced into giving strange men lap dances for cash.
And when Bethany tells him that she’s actually quite proud of her job, and even enjoys it, Craig is left speechless.
Little does he know, this is all because of the control Bethany feels over the men in the club.
After being groomed by evil Nathan Curtis last year, Bethany tries to explain that actually the fact that the mean aren’t allowed to touch her is what makes her like the job.
But Craig just isn’t listening – leaving Bethany fuming.
As the pair argue, Craig asks Bethany if Nathan is behind her new job – leaving her exasperated.
He then tells Bethany: “I know you’re scared, but you’ve beaten this once and you can do it again. If you don’t want to talk to me, talk to Jess.
“Apart from anything else, you’re underage! It’s against the law!
“After everything those men did to you, this would be the last thing you would be doing if you had a choice. Parading around in your underwear, men treating you like you’re a piece of meat…”
Even when Bethany retaliates that her new career is her own choice, it seems her pleas fall on deaf ears.
