Victoria Beckham may have dashed all of our hopes of a Spice Girls reunion, but Geri Halliwell, Mel B and Emma Bunton have kept fans’ dreams alive!

The trio met up on Thursday and shared photos to Instagram using the caption: “Naughty but nice! #spicegirls #friendshipneverends #summernights #aperolspritz.”

Fans were quick to express their hopes the girls were planning a reunion tour, despite it previously being suggested that wouldn’t happen.

“Please say you’re hanging out, planning a reunion tour #sayyoullbethere,” wrote one fan.

Fans initially went wild when the five Spice Girls met together in February, but it was claimed that fashion designer Victoria couldn’t make her schedule work with a reunion tour.

She later told Grazia the girls hadn’t actually been planning a tour or new music, but had instead wanted to spread the message of Girl Power once again.

“We were just saying girl power is such an important message and how do we communicate that? How do we pass the baton on, how does that look to future generations?” she said.

“And that’s what it’s about with us. It’s not about all the rumours about going on tour and recording new material.”

However, the Spice Girls are rumoured to be performing at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding next week, and Victoria has already let it slip to chat show host James Corden that she and husband David WILL be attending the much-anticipated event.

But will she be on stage?

The last time the five women peformed together was for the 2012 London Olympics – and it blew our minds!

Meanwhile, Emma, Geri and Mel B had previously announced they would be reuniting and creating new music as a three-piece named GEM, yet the reunion has been put on hold…. until now?

Mel B, 42, recently announced on Loose Women that she’s still very keen for the band to tour.

“We’re in the works of figuring stuff out. Maybe we’ll tour soon. I’ve always said we’ll definitely tour.”

Mel C, however, was doubtful about a reunion because she believed it should be ‘all five’.

“Victoria has been quite vocal. It’s really not something she wants to do at this time. I think it has to be all five, so it’s tricky,” she told The Sun.
