Spice Girls spark fresh reunion rumours – but there’s something missing

Could it be 'Too Much' to hope it could actually happen?

There have been years of will they, won’t they rumours, and once again speculation about a Spice Girls reunion has been getting fans excited.

But before you get your Union Jack dresses out in celebration, there apparently isn’t actually going to be any singing involved!

Well, not from the five girls anyway.

Although Posh Spice, Victoria Beckham reportedly vowed she would never sing again, it seems the five ladies have found a way to reunite!

According to reports today, Victoria will be joined by Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, Mel B and Mel C, to judge a Chinese reality show to ‘find the next global pop star’.

The Mail on Sunday reports that former manager Simon Fuller, who masterminded the girls’ worldwide success the first time around, is rumoured to be involved in the first step to getting the girls back together.

Today’s news about a Spicey reunion in the works hasn’t been addressed by any of the band, so no word yet on whether it’s actually true or not.

However, rumours about a comeback of sorts have been swirling since last month.

In November, an insider told The Sun: “The five of them have been locked in secret talks since the summer, and finally they are all on-board for a 2018 reunion.

“As it stands, they will be working together on a series of projects, which will include an album and a TV special celebrating the Spice Girls.

“And getting Victoria to agree has been a coup for everyone involved, given she has always been the person holding back on a reunion.”

Could the talent show make or break the reunion?

We hope that if all five are involved in finding the next big global superstar, it might just make them all remember how to zig-a-zig-ahhhh!
