Baby Spice Emma Bunton got to meet one of her famous fans at Wembley this week.
Posting to Instagram ahead of the group’s first show at the stadium, Emma shared a picture of herself with actress Emma Stone – and it appears that the snap provided a huge fangirl moment for the La La Land star.
The Spice Girls singer had earlier revealed, during an interview with Heart, that she was looking forward to meeting the actress at the gig.
She also revealed she’d heard that, as a child, Emma Stone had insisted on dropping her birth name of Emily to be called Emma as she was “such a big Spice Girls fan”.
The actress herself has confirmed that Baby Spice was indeed the inspiration behind her name change.

She admitted, in a conversation with The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon in 2018: “Was it because of Emma Lee Bunton from the Spice Girls? Yes, it was.”
Posting two pictures of the pair ahead of the Wembley Stadium gig to the social media site, Emma B said: “When Emma met Emma.”
She used the hashtag #2become1 in reference to the band’s 1996 hit single.
Celebrity fans were quick to comment on the smiling shots, with Keith Lemon writing: “Wow!!!!!! Bring her back with you!”

Dannii Minogue added: “Sooooo much beauty.”
Others said of fangirl Emma: “Emma Stone is probably floating beside her body geeking out.”
Another commented that the Oscar-winning actress had “finally” met “her idol”.
“This is so wonderful!!! Knowing how much it means for Emma makes it even more special,” another fan added.
