Writing to her 159K Twitter followers the star said: “We have not even had @BGT live shows yet and already my head is reeeling at the changes coming up on @TheXFactor 2017!!”

“Is it your time?!!”

The brand new series is set to air this August and it’s been reported that the show bosses are looking for ways to spice it up and make it more exciting for viewers.

A source told The Sun: “The X Factor executives feel it needs a shake-up with big changes to the format.

“They have been discussing having just a few weeks of live shows — so people get to know the singers — and then one big finals week.

“They think viewers would prefer one week of great TV, with star performers.”

Auditions for the singing contest are underway and Simon has confirmed Sharon Osbourne, Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger will be joining him on the judging panel.

But with Nicole, 38, apparently still left to sign up for the role it’s also been reported that former Spice Girls singer Mel B could step in if Nicole doesn’t take the offer.

Speaking about the panel for this year Simon told The Sun: “I don’t think for the moment we’d want to make any changes.’

He added: ‘It worked on X Factor last year and the Britain’s Got Talent panel works really well.”

Meanwhile Sinitta has been in talks to host a brand new chat show which will rival ITV’s Loose Women.

The show, which would be called The Raw Deal, will focus on all topics surrounding ethnic diversity and will be a platform for issues affecting black women.

A source told The Sun: “Sinitta has had several big meetings with channel execs.

“The idea is a very fresh one and the ladies have already recorded a pilot show. It could help to change the face of British TV.”
