Sinitta has revealed Simon Cowell feared he was “paralysed” as a result of the freak accident which saw him break his back.
In August, it was revealed that Simon had been hospitalised after falling off of his electric bike.
And, Sinitta revealed exclusively to Entertainment Daily, hearing about her old flame’s “serious” accident was “very, very scary”.
What did Sinitta say about Simon Cowell?
Opening up about the accident, she told us: “It was a serious accident. So for people who love him, like me, it was very, very scary.
“It was very scary to hear it happen and also him being so far away and because of lockdown not being able to jump on a plane and go and see him, it was very hard,” she said.
Asked how the Britain’s Got Talent boss is doing now, Sinitta said: “He’s healing.”
However, it seems the music mogul was worried about if he would ever walk again following the freak accident.
Sinitta said: “He’s taken some steps, so he has reassured himself that he’s not paralysed.
“But he’s got to take his time and get well.”

Simon is currently being cared for in Los Angeles by girlfriend Lauren Silverman. The couple are parents to adorable son Eric.
Sinitta, meanwhile, who dated Simon in the 1980s, is mum to two adopted kids, Magdalena and Zac.
Simon wants to get back to work
However, those caring for Simon have a struggle on their hands with the man they all call “a workaholic”.
“We’re trying to keep him still,” she said of the star who appears keen to return to work.
“We’re trying to keep him more focused on being well than entertaining the nation which is difficult because he’s a workaholic.
“But that’s what his passion is and that’s what his promise is, what he wants to do,” she added.
Amanda Holden upsets Lauren
Is is there any truth in the story that Simon’s girlfriend Lauren wasn’t happen that new BGT head judge Amanda Holden spoke out recently with an update about Simon’s health?
“Oh I didn’t know about that,” Sinitta told ED! exclusively.
“Maybe she’s not going to be happy that I’ve spoken either – I didn’t know about that.”
However, Sinitta quipped: “It won’t be the first time I’ve been in trouble.”
We guess that’s what happens when you remain friends with an ex, eh Sinitta?
“Uh-hum, that’s what happens,” she said.
