Especially now he is a father to his heir Eric!
Speaking the Mail, he says he is now living in fear after someone broke into his mansion while he and his girlfriend Lauren Silverman and Eric slept in their beds.
Crim Darren February made away with around £1million worth of jewellery but was caught and jailed for eight years.
Simon has now made sure that his house has been turned into a fortress.
In fact he has forked out £500,000 on security for his home, including installing a panic room.
“What really got to me though was that this guy was walking about in my house when Eric was fast asleep – it doesn’t bear thinking about what could have happened if he had gone into his bedroom, and found him,’ he said.
“It is terrifying, and still gives me nightmares.”

Speaking about the efforts he has gone to ensure his family’s safety, he added: “The whole experience has been pretty traumatising and not something I ever want to go through again.
“I’ve obviously had to massively increase my personal security at home with every mod-con you can imagine, and all this stuff, including a panic room. My house basically looks like something out of Raiders of the Lost Ark.”
