Katie Price ‘signs up’ for new reality show with a twist

There’s no one better at headline grabbing!

| Updated:

Katie Price has reportedly just signed up for the most fun-sounding reality show ever.

According to the Daily Star, she will be joining hosts Christine Lampard and Matt Richardson – as well as a group of other celebs – on Celebrity Haunted Mansion Live.

Katie, 39, who is mum to Harvey, Junior, Princess, Bunny and Jett, is apparently the first of the famous faces to sign up for the reality show, which will take place in a creepy, haunted house in Gloucestershire.

The show is set to air next month on the W channel and, if the report is true, we can already picture Katie screaming her head off.

Celebrity Haunted Mansion Live will pit two teams of celebs against each other, as they make their way through a haunted home, guided by paranormal experts.

The former glamour model has never shied away from supernatural chat.

It recently emerged that she’d called in paranormal investigator, Lee Roberts, who has appeared on ghostly shows such as Most Haunted’s live events, US TV show Ghost Attacks and Quest Red’s #LockdownShockdown.

Katie has spent years complaining of ghouls haunting her mansion in Sussex, and Lee previously told The Sun that she brought him in to help her track down the spirits.

He said: “Katie is very much into ghost-hunting and the paranormal.

“We have been messaging for a couple of months on Twitter, so we just wanted to explore it a little more. I’ve been showing her the ropes.”

Lee even hinted that they might work on a separate ghostly reality show together, if producers were keen.

The model, formerly known as Jordan, claims she has been dealing with ghosts for 20 years, even inviting mediums and psychics to her house to investigate and hold séances.

Last year she told Loose Women her ‘aura’ was to blame, saying: “Most of my houses are haunted. When I’ve had mediums rounds they say it’s me. I have an aura around me.”

She explained: “I had a house that had memories. It was amazing but I couldn’t understand why it had been up for sale for two years and no one had bought it.

“Anyway, I bought it and I had so many ghostly experiences there that I ended up finding out it had been built on a nursing home which had been knocked down.

“The orangery, where the swimming pool was, was where they put the bodies and stuff.

“So many things happened there like with water and everything. I had mediums come around and they would tell me stuff that had happened; yeah, that house was haunted.”

Ooooh, has anyone else got CHILLS?

She revealed in 2015 that she even called in an exorcist to rid her Surrey home of ghosts after claiming her kids were waking up screaming in the middle of the night.

“We had it cleared because it was haunted and we had to get rid of the ghosts,” she told OK! mag.

“I called the people who lived here before, who’d been here for 25 years, and asked if anyone had died here, and they said, ‘Not in the last 18 years!’

“I don’t know who, but I guess it means someone did die here.”
