TV viewers were in shock today as news spread that a popular reality star had been found dead in a shallow grave.

She had been murdered.

The victim was named as Lisa Marie Naegle, who appeared on E! show Bridalplasty, back in 2010.

A male nursing student Jackie Jerome Rogers has supposedly confessed to killing the star and is being held on a $2 million bail.

An LAPD spokesperson told reporters: “We’ve just been informed that investigators in the coroner’s office have found the body of a female in a shallow grave at the residence.

“We do believe that it is our victim Lisa Marie Naegle – although official confirmation will be the responsibility of the coroner’s office.

“At this time, investigators will be here for several more hours as they process the scene.”

Lisa Marie went missing after attending a birthday bash on Saturday night.

She texted her husband Derek Harryman in the early hours to say she was getting food and coming home but never arrived

Reports are still sketchy but it is believed  that Rogers killed Lisa Marie by beating her over the head with a hammer seven times.

TMZ has made claims that Rogers said the deceased had actually broken up with him to go back to her husband – whether or not this is true remains to be seen.

Lisa Marie’s sister Danielle Naegle-Kaimona told ABC 7 that she and the family understood that Rogers was the last person to see her and pleaded with him to tell them what he knew.

Danielle said:  “We begged and pleaded that he’d come to our home to kind of give us details on what time, where were things, and when he left her, but while he was talking to us and telling us his story, multiple different times he said he absolutely did not go home with her, or did not take her home.”

Before her murder had been confirmed, Naegle’s anxious husband Harryman  revealed that he and his wife had been trying to have a baby, telling a local newspaper, “We are looking forward to starting a family,” he told the Orange County Register before the news of her murder.
