Sheridan Smith takes action after her identity is stolen on Tinder

Fake profile said she was a big fan of changing her hair colour

Sheridan Smith has swiped left on Tinder after a fake profile pretending to be her was uploaded to the dating app, according to reports.

The Cilla star, 36, is believed to have taken action after six images of her were posted without permission, reports The Sun.

The bogus profile also listed her job as working for the West End’s Theatre Royal Haymarket.

It claimed the singer and actress spends her free time on her appearance, pets and taking it easy when she isn’t treading the boards.

“I like changing my hair colour, dogs, laughing and sleeping,” the sham bio reportedly continued.

But Sheridan’s spokesperson told The Sun: “I can confirm this is a fake account and I have reported it to be taken down.”

No stranger to having her love life in the headlines, Sheridan has not confirmed any romance rumours since reportedly splitting from model Graham Nation last November.

However, she did hint she may possibly be seeing someone during an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show shortly after her rumoured break up.

Asked if she had a man in her life, Sheridan replied: “I don’t know what I’m in at the minute.”

And during her self-titled ITV special last year, the multi-award winner joked she is “a disaster in relationships.”

Blaming her busy schedule, Sheridan said: “I am a workaholic, I am an absolute workaholic. And I have found that people don’t tend to enjoy that when you are always out working.”
