Shayne Ward and his fiancée Sophie Austin made a glamorous appearance at a charity ball in Manchester.
The couple gave their support to a dinner held in aid of Child Bereavement UK and the Red Sea Pedestrians on Thursday evening.
Former Coronation Street star Shayne shared a photo to Instagram praising his “stunning” partner, who looked sensational in a floor-length red gown.
Ex-Hollyoaks actress Sophie posted the same images to her own Instagram account, using a simple love heart emoji to describe her feelings for Shayne. Aww!
She also shared a second image focusing on her stunning look for the night, tagging in everyone and everything that helped her – including a good ol’ pair of Spanx!
Shayne and Sophie met up with some famous friends at the dinner: his former Corrie co-star Catherine Tyldesley and her husband Tom Pitfield.
Sophie shared a photo of them together at their table with the caption: “Lighting on point.”
Shayne played Aidan Connor in Coronation Street until May, when his character took his own life.
Catherine, meanwhile, starred as Aidan’s ex-fiancée Eva Price until she too left the soap, with her final scenes airing in August.
As well as being a guest at the Child Bereavement UK and Red Sea Pedestrians charity dinner, Catherine also performed on the night at Victoria Warehouse.
Take That’s Gary Barlow also took to the stage at the fundraiser.
Child Bereavement UK supports families and educates professionals when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying, or when a child is facing bereavement.
Red Sea Pedestrians is a group of business men and women raising money for charitable causes in Manchester.
Meanwhile, Shayne and Sophie – who played Lindsey Butterfield in Hollyoaks – have just wrapped filming on a new movie.
The parents of one-year-old daughter Willow have mixed business and pleasure by co-starring in upcoming thriller film Stairs, about a group of Special Ops forces stuck in a “never-ending stairwell” after being sent to a warzone to receive important information.
A summary on IMDB says: ” The unit soon find themselves trapped on a never-ending stairwell forced to climb or die. To survive, they must revisit their past sins if they ever want to get off.”
