Scarlett Moffatt accused of begging for £150 skirt before ‘ghosting’ seller

The I'm A Celeb star apparently ignored messages

Scarlett Moffatt has always seemed like one of the most down-to-earth stars on telly, which is why this new report comes as such a surprise.

The Saturday Night Takeaway presenter has been accused of being “rude and disrespectful”, after begging a woman on social media for a customised £150 skirt, and then completely blanking her.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, the owner of the MySuitcase boutique says she feels heartbroken by the I’m A Celeb winner’s behaviour.

Michaela Liu, 27, said: “I was approached on Instagram by Scarlett Moffatt asking me if I do collaborations. I couldn’t believe it when she messaged me, I obviously would never turn down this opportunity working with Queen of the jungle!

“We spoke via direct message on Instagram and she described exactly what she wanted… our signature TULLE skirt with crystal stars in black, for a huge event she was hosting – the first ever Virgin Atlantic pride flight to New York.”

Sadly, after working hard to make the skirt – even though the small business owner had mumps at the time – and delivering it to Scarlett’s door for free, Michaela says she was ghosted by the 29-year-old star.

She says Scarlett never wore or acknowledged the tulle skirt – instead wearing a rainbow coloured dress to the Pride event.

She also claims Scarlett has ignored her follow-up messages about returning the item.

Michaela goes on to say she was “heartbroken… gutted… deflated,” as well as feeling “sick and cheated.”

Taking to Instagram after her quotes appeared, she thanked everyone who had offered support, writing: “I feel massively reassured that I’ve done the right thing…

“I wasn’t sure at first, but… I realise I have done the right thing.”
