“After being broken a couple of times I decided I owed it to myself to give me as much love as I had given others, I put my efforts into self love and for once I felt truly happy (flaws and all),” she said.

“Then all of a sudden this man came into my life unexpectedly and now my heart is even fuller. No one has ever made me feel this way. You truly are my soul mate.

“Never give up on love and most importantly never give up on yourself.”

The loved-up couple have been enjoying a weekend away in Paris, with Scarlett posting a few videos of the trip to Instagram Stories.

She shared shots of the couple walking hand in hand around the French capital, as well as a shot of love-locks attached to a monument.

Scarlett has opened up about her new love in the past, speaking of her joy at finding a “normal” relationship on ITV’s Lorraine.

“I keep saying to people ‘He’s so normal,’ and everyone’s like, ‘that’s not a good descriptive word,’ but it is for me,” she said.

“And my mum is ecstatic that I’m with a normal person, he’s a policeman, he’s got a really nice family as well, he’s just a nice person.”

She went on to say that she was enjoying being in a relationship that feels relaxed.

“There’s no drama as well. It’s not like sometimes when you have boyfriends and then you’ll go on a night out and come back and you’ll have loads of stories – we just go out and have nice time and then go back and watch the telly,” she said.
