Former Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt has opened up about regretting her comments that she made during her time on the show.

Since her Gogglebox days the 26-year-old has risen to fame after bagging several huge prime-time telly jobs including Saturday Night Takeaway and the relaunch of Streetmate.

But the star has revealed after watching the show back it “doesn’t feel like her”.

Speaking to the Daily Star she said: “Obviously it’s so much easier commenting on how other people are on TV.

“I’ve learnt a lot since then.”

The I’m A Celebrity winner added: “It’s so weird because I watched an old Gogglebox back the other day and it doesn’t even feel like that’s me.

“I was like ‘why are you saying that?’ because now that I’m on TV I realise just how difficult it is.”

Scarlett previously spoke out about crossing paths with celebs she may have passed judgment on during her Gogglebox days.

She said: “I’ve never said anything too offensive.

“I don’t mean to upset anyone intentionally.”

But the star revealed she now works alongside many celebs that she admired growing up.

Her “childhood heroes” Ant and Dec opened up about the possibility of Scarlett pinching their job in a few years’ time.

Star magazine asked: “Are you pleased fans are loving new addition Scarlett Moffatt?”

Ant replied: “Scarlett is amazing.

“She’s really impressed us both. She’ll have my job in two years!”

She’s done so amazingly, we wouldn’t put it past her!

Despite her success going from strength to strength – and that vote of confidence from her new Geordie pals – the northern lass has admitted she doesn’t know what she’s doing with her life.

Opening up to Reveal magazine about her living arrangements since moving to London, she said: “I haven’t bought a place yet.

“I’m still renting, I’m just trying to work out what I want to do with my life.”
