Scarlett Moffatt has opened up about her relationship with new boyfriend Scott Dobinson, revealing it’s “lovely” to be seeing someone “normal”.
The former Gogglebox star, who has made a name for herself as a TV presenter after winning I’m A Celebrity – Get Me Out Of Here! in 2016, spoke to Lorraine Kelly on her ITV breakfast show today.
The 29-year-old star said she felt embarrassed as Lorraine asked her about her policeman beau. Scarlett revealed: “He is very lovely.”
She said her mum Betty, who she starred with on Gogglebox, is “so happy”. She added: “My mum is ecstatic that I’m with a normal person. He’s a policeman and he’s got a really nice family.”
A smitten Scarlett added of Scott: “He’s a nice person. There’s no drama.”

Telling Lorraine she felt “really happy”, Scarlett also revealed that she’d love to take part in Strictly Come Dancing. “I would love it,” she said.
However, Scarlett did dance as a youngster, and she told Lorraine: “I feel like as I can already dance would people hate me for that?”
After the host assured her the viewing public would love her, Scarlett laughed: “Sign me up!” She added she’d love to be paired with Anton Du Beke as she felt like they would “have a giggle”.
Lorraine also asked Scarlett about the downsides of fame, and the upbeat star admitted: “The positives massively outweigh the negatives.”

Speaking about being trolled over her weight losses and gains, a wistful Scarlett said: “It took a couple of years for me to learn how to cope with it. I have a good support network of friends and family.”
She added: “The first thing I do in the morning is get up, make a cup of tea and put the TV on rather than look on my phone. It can be dangerous.”
Spreading a body positive image, Scarlett told Lorraine: “I just think no one can hand on heart admit to being 100 per cent happy with themselves. You’ve got to just be happy in yourself and that reflects on the outside.”
