Scarlett Moffatt is not a happy bunny and has taken a swipe at critics after she was accused of photoshopping a new selfie.
Scarlett, who last week wrapped the 15th series of Saturday Night Takeaway in Florida alongside Declan Donnelly and Stephen Mulhern, snapped the picture in her bedroom before heading out to dinner.
In the Instagram photo, 27-year-old Scarlett is wearing a black jumpsuit and bright cerise jacket, and she told fans how she was off to celebrate the paperback release of her book Me Life Story: Sofa So Good.
However, some commenters accused Scarlett of not being entirely honest about her picture.
One wrote: “Please be yourself and put pics of the real you on insta. You’re gorgeous Scarlett but this is not a true likeness. ”
Another added: “Please just be yourself and stop endorsing the world of photoshop. I worry about young girls and the trend of feeling the need to hide your true self in order to please society.”
A third wrote: “You know @scarlett_moffatt I really respect you for speaking out about people body shaming and saying you are proud of yourself and your figure…
“So WHY do you feel the need to alter your pictures so that you look nothing like yourself?
“I don’t really understand at all please explain. You don’t need to do this you are lovely so please be honest with yourself.”
But Scarlett is not impressed and has shot back, denying that she has doctored her selfie in any way.
Writing in the comments section herself, Scarlett blasted: “This is me and it annoys me when people say otherwise.
“I’m 5 foot, I don’t edit pics just put filters – TV makes me look different to be honest!! Stop it with the negativity man.”
Rallying around the Geordie star, who found fame on Gogglebox before being crowned Queen Of The Jungle in the 2016 series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!, other fans also jumped to her defence.
One wrote: “People will forever fascinate me with their bullying comments obviously stemming from their own insecurities. Never stop being you, you’re a fabulous, inspirational woman. You always look amazing!”
Another simply added: “Lovely girl… looking fab!!”
Meanwhile, Scarlett last week admitted she missed the Saturday Night Takeaway wrap party after falling asleep!
She tweeted: “When you go to bed for 7pm nap and wake up 12 hours late. Well I think I’ve definitely missed the wrap party.”
