Former TOWIE stars Sam Faiers is said to be “seeing a therapist” to cure her of a disorder which causes her to pull out her own hair and eyelashes.
Sam, who is mum to son Paul, three, and daughter Rosie, 18 months, is said to be concerned that her children will grow up and “copy” her habit and is keen to find a cure.
Mummy Diaries star Sam was diagnosed with trichotillomania as a child, something that she has said started when her stepfather Dave Chatwood was sent to prison.

A source told the Daily Mail: “Now she has children of her own, she’s determined to seek a cure for her trich as she would be devastated if her children replicated her condition.”
Ent Daily has contacted a rep for Sam for comment.
Sam admitted on her YouTube channel back in 2016 that it started when she was aged just eight years old.
She admitted: “A friend of ours said to me if you pick out an eyelash, make a wish and it’ll come true.”

She added: “When I was younger my dad went to prison. I was picking out an eyelash and making a wish for him to come home.”
The star – whose sister is fellow reality TV star Billie Faiers – admitted: “In recent years, I’ve seen a psychologist who specialises in trichotillomania. I still don’t have it under control now. I like the feeling of it. It’s like a comfort thing.”
Sam added: “It’s gone so far that it’s compulsive and it’s so hard to stop.”
The bubbly blonde also admitted that, as a teen, her compulsion rocked her confidence as her eyelashes gradually stopped growing back.
She admitted: “When I was at school, I was a really confident, loud kid. But when you’re going into senior school, you want to look nicer. I felt like I couldn’t really look people in the eye.”
Sam, who has no natural eyelashes, now uses false ones instead.
She told her YouTube followers: “I felt like people were looking at me like I was weird. When I was 14 I discovered false eyelashes. I couldn’t believe how over the moon I was.”
The star, who is now happily loved-up with boyfriend Paul Knightley, is currently enjoying a sunshine holiday with her family in Majorca.
Opening up on Instagram, Sam revealed she was holidaying with her “favourite people in the world”, as she shared shots of Paul and their kids.
However, some of Sam’s followers were quick to question the star’s use of a buggy for her eldest son, with some saying: “Surely Paul’s old enough to walk?”
