Sam Faiers finally reveals TRUTH behind ‘feud’ with TOWIE co-star Ferne McCann

No drama here, people!

| Updated:

After months of rumours about a falling out between Sam Faiers and Ferne McCann, Sam has finally revealed the truth behind their so-called ‘feud’. It’s about time, too!

The two new mums were previously besties on the ITVBe show, and Ferne was a regular visitor to Sam’s sister Billie’s house.

Yet the pair have not been pictured together for months, and now Sam has revealed what really happened.

According to Sam, the pair simply “drifted apart” over the years, as many people do.

“Over quite a long period of time, we haven’t seen eye to eye on a number of things,” Sam told The Mirror.

“We’ve drifted apart from each other. We’ve grown up and grown apart but there’s no major feud.”

Sam’s comments follow Ferne’s furious denial last week, over speculation that she and Sam had fallen out over Sam’s alleged disapproval of Ferne’s ex-boyfriend, Arthur Collins.

It was alleged that Sam, 27, had urged Ferne to ditch Arthur, who is father to Ferne’s three-month-old daughter, Sunday, before he had even committed his horrific acid attack in April last year – leaving multiple people injured.

The attack in East London saw him sentenced to 20 years in prison on December 19.

But Ferne vehemently denied that and said there was no falling out with Sam.

Ferne, 27, tweeted: “Regarding today’s many FALSE stories about me (and sorry to bore you all)…For the record (again), I am not in a relationship with Arthur. I don’t know how I can be any clearer about that!”

“Sam and I never fell out about Arthur. This is false!”

While it has been a tough time for Ferne as she raises baby Sunday, the reality star has thrown herself into work projects, including a rumoured second series of ITVBe’s First Time Mum.

Sam, meanwhile, is gearing up for the third series of ITVBe show, The Mummy Diaries, which begins on Wednesday night.

After several awkward scenes (namely Sam’s boyfriend Paul Knightley’s intimate ‘kiss’ with his mum Gaynor) during the first series, the third is set to get tongues wagging once again as sister Billie Faiers and her family join the cast.

Sam told Now mag of teaming up with Billie: “It was a natural progression. The Baby Diaries did really well and Billie was in it quite a lot, so it felt right to do another series together.

“Our families are very different as well, so people may watch it thinking they’re more like the Shepherds or more like the Knightleys.”

The Mummy Diaries starts on Wednesday at 9pm on ITVBe
