Sam Faiers “turns back on” pregnant Ferne McCann

The former best friends are said to have fallen out after the acid attack ordeal

TOWIE stars Ferne McCann and Sam Faiers are usually the best of friends, but their relationship has taken a bad turn.

As most are aware, and is clear on The Mummy Diaries, they are super close.

But it seems that they have fallen out, as 26-year-old Ferne has said that Sam has “turned her back on her”.

Since Ferne’s ex was arrested over an acid attack in East London last month, she is said to be feeling sad that Sam hasn’t been around for her.

The pregnant reality star, who also works for This Morning, appeared on the daytime chat show to talk to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield about what happened to her.

She confirmed that she was single, and that she was looking forward to welcoming her baby into the world, but there was no public display of support from Sam.

Speaking to Heat magazine, an insider said that Ferne is upset that Sam hasn’t been supportive of her, while her sister Billie has.

The source said: “When Ferne revealed she was pregnant, Sam sent her these supportive messages, but when it came to meeting up, she kept making excuses.

“When she didn’t say anything about Ferne’s pregnancy and her This Morning interview in public, things came to a head. Basically it seems like Sam’s worried about her image and career.”

The insider seemed to allude to the fact that Sam was keeping her distance to protect her image.

“Right now, she feels like Sam’s turned her back on her.”

A couple of weeks ago, the heartbroken presenter said that her pregnancy has given her “strength and hope” after finding out her ex injured so many people in the acid attack.

Arthur Collins was charged with 14 counts of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm and one count of throwing corrosive fluid on a person with intent.

Despite her stressful few months, Ferne admitted: “I’m actually feeling good and positive, because I’m pregnant that has given me the strength and hope to get through this.”

We hope she and Sam make up soon!
