Rylan Clark-Neal BANNED from interviewing Victoria Beckham for This Morning

Presenter was kept in the dark about the chat

Showbiz royalty Victoria Beckham graced This Morning with an interview today – but resident showbiz reporter Rylan Clark-Neal was BANNED from doing the chat.

Landing an exclusive with the former Spice Girl turned fashion designer was a big coup – and producers apparently didn’t trust Rylan with the responsibility that comes with such a big gig.

Just look at poor Rylan's face as he learns the truth

Seemingly, the Xtra Factor fave was kept out of the loop with regard to VB’s appearance full-stop.

After FINALLY learning Goldenballs’ missus was going to be on the show, he screamed: "What? Why wasn't I told about this? Who went and spoke to her?"

The exclusive interview was pre-recorded and conducted by This Morning's beauty producer Laura Bacchus.

Poor Rylan. But it seems this was a case of finders keepers. This Morning’s beauty department secured the chat so they got to do it!

Rylan’s pal and fellow presenter Ruth Langsford tried to break the news gently and explain why he wasn't chosen.

Eamonn Holmes stuck the boot in in his inimitable style: "We all saw how you let yourself down with Emma last week. So you will not be involved!"

We’d definitely rather have a chat with you over all of ‘em, any day, Ry!
