He’s just returned from an idyllic holiday in Italy where he popped the question to Lucy Mecklenburgh.
But Ryan Thomas has admitted he doesn’t have post holiday blues because he was delighted to be reunited with his family on his return.
The soap star shared a picture on Instagram where he’s posing with his daughter, Scarlett, who he had with his previous partner Tina O’Brien.
They are joined by Ryan’s brother, Adam, and his son, Teddy.
Ryan captioned the image: “My reason to come home #family.”
The picture gained more than 27k likes, as Ryan’s followers commented on how cute it was.
“Gorgeous family,” wrote one. “So sweet,” said another.
“You should be so so proud to have family & friends that love you very much, lovely to see hold onto it,” gushed a third.

Ryan’s famous friends also chipped in with Ashley Taylor Dawson, who plays Darren in Hollyoaks, writing: “Love everything just there!”
Meanwhile, TOWIE’S Lydia Bright was more concerned about Ryan’s style.
“Might want to clothes roller over your hat,” she advised as the baseball cap the actor was wearing was covered in fluff.
“Apparently it’s all the trend I’m going for the quirky look,” he joked as he replied.

Ryan, 35, also shared clips of his homecoming on his Stories, showing the family out to dinner along with his other brother, Scott. They had plenty to celebrate after Ryan became engaged to Lucy while on holiday.
He went down on one knee as the pair enjoyed a a private dinner at Villa Treville on the beautiful Almafi coast.
It is not yet known when he and the former TOWIE star, who met on The Island with Bear Grylls survival show, will tie the knot. But Ryan has promised it will be massive!
He told OK! Magazine: “It would be huge and one big party. It would be bigger than my brother Adam’s!”
